And it makes me awfully proud of this namesake.
I don’t know.
I’ve never met Larry Page, the co-founder and CEO of Google, and he wouldn’t know me even if he was the next-to-last man on earth and had stopped into the last Starbucks for an iced caramel macchiato where I worked as last barista.
But it’s fun just knowing that when “this Page” speaks, people listen.
Certainly, his bio and track record speaks for itself.
He recently offered this challenge to an audience of business leaders – and I thought you’d want to wrestle with it, too.
Page asked, “Which group are you in? I believe – at any given moment in time – you’ll find that 99.99% of all people will not be working on their #1 priority at all. And that there will be only .01% of all people who are. So if you want to make progress and change the world, then you should strive to be in the .01% group everyday.”
Which group are you in?
But it calls attention to the importance of FOCUS like few I’ve seen.
I asked former WWE star Diamond Dallas Page to help me “wrestle with it” some more.
Maybe he could help me power-slam my way into the “.01%” elite.
But like Larry.
He claims he doesn’t know me, either!
