Tech Tip Tuesday: Using Canva to Share Your Success.

Screen Shot 2014-08-11 at 10.23.53 AMAll too often the true stories about what’s happening in our schools isn’t being told.

As a teacher, I make it a priority to share the great things that my students are doing and accomplishing.

As school employees, though, we are BUSY.  So how do I do it?  Well, Canva helps me to create a sleek graphic that focuses on student achievements or even team achievements (that’s the volleyball coach in me…).

I can make a great poster that I know is much less likely to get deleted from a parent’s email than a lengthy paragraph.

A stunning graphic is also a great way to catch a parent or community member’s attention when it’s posted on a school Facebook or Twitter page.  Check out my tutorial for a step-by-step process on how to do this.

And stay tuned for another tutorial in the Canva series next week!
