Thanksgiving is the best! (Except for when the Lions are on TV!*)
It’s always good to count your blessings — and it helps to have a day when the big “to do” task is front and center. (Kind of like our Fall Student Count Day in a way, right? A day of pure focus.) Well, I don’t do this often enough, but the individuals over at our scnforyou.com resource site deserve a big shout out. Supt. Karen McPhee at the Ottawa Area ISD will be continuing to guest post for us and, as long as Ron Koehler at the Kent ISD keeps grilling and smoking in his spare time, we’ll write more about his antics as well. No, we probably won’t. But you never know. We’ve got a long roster of school communicators to showcase — like Coopersville’s Kathy Gomez who’s up there now. I hope you’ll use either the Free Trial option or your member log-in to also read about Kathy and Kym’s article about her visit with the Midland Loons marketing director. Along with Mark De Roo (leadership coach) and Rob Pocock (corporate communications and college prof), Kym’s always able to come up with some take-away gems for school communicators. So, if you’re on a plane, train, or just camping out prior to Black Friday, check out this week’s features. Happy Thanksgiving!
