Tech Tip Tuesday: Using Canva to improve your school communications

Screen Shot 2014-07-23 at 6.01.30 PMCanva is a website that offers graphic design help.  It’s been gaining a lot of press since Guy Kawasaki (former Apple Evangelist) became their CEO in April, 2014.

It’s a site I started learning about in January, but really started exploring in April as I was planning a tech conference for my district.  Then, I realized I could show my students how to use Canva, too. They loved it. You will, too!

All in all, it’s a pretty user-friendly website that allows you to create beautiful designs that can be used all over – from posters you print to headers for your school’s Facebook page.  Check out the video below for my review of Canva and how you can use it in your school.

I hope you want to learn more about Canva! I’m just getting started.
Part 2 in my Canva Tips Series will be here next Tuesday.
