This acquaintance knows more about you than all of your friends combined – SCN Encourager
And “Google Search” is its name.
Every click.
Every time.
EVERY TIME you’ve ever clicked to search for a link, a photo, or an address using Google, 100% of your web activity has been recorded and stored.
Whatcha’ think?
To be honest, I’ve never thought about this before.
But I’m starting to think about it now thanks to this article by Yahoo tech reporter Daniel Howley.
It’s a stunner.
Every search.
Every click.
Every time.
So, with a nice weekend coming up, I thought I’d pass this step-by-step article onto you, in case you wanted to add it your spring cleaning chores.
Me?
I’m going to tackle this task in the fall.
With my lack of tech savvy-ness, I’m not sure I could ever really be sure I’ve fully deleted everything “Google knows” about me.
Maybe with your own search history, you’re perfectly free to play it straight with Howley’s advice.
I’m going to need some creative school communicator razz-ma-tazz.
I’ve got some quick search history “padding” to do.
Before I delete one thing, I’m going to spend a lot of time searching and frantically clicking away on links and images directly related to:
• Expensive boss’s day gifts
• Expensive wedding anniversary gifts
• Expensive gifts for future sons-in-laws*
(* Or is it properly “son-in-laws???”)
Rats!
Now I’m even leery about “googling” this to find out!
